Dan is the plant manager at Deseret Manufacturing. He oversees associates, who manufacture furniture, mattresses, and signs. Deseret Manufacturing produces 19,000 pieces of furniture, 22,000 mattresses, and 21,000 signs a year. The materials built here are shipped all over the country.
Associates working at Deseret Manufacturing receive valuable job training, and Deseret Industries receives brand-new items. Homeless shelters and refugee organizations also benefit from the beds, tables, and chairs that Deseret Manufacturing builds, as many items are donated to those in need.
