Meet Abinadi, one of the hard-working associates at Deseret Industries. Abinadi helps to sort, price, and label the shoes, books and electronics at his DI store. He loves to read, so he loves to work on the books the best.
This is actually Abinadi’s first job ever. The DI gives him the tools to be self-reliant while working in an environment that supports his needs. Abinadi enjoys the opportunity to earn a paycheck so he can enjoy his hobbies outside of work.
With the help of his job coach, Pablo, Abinadi is working on learning job skills that will help him long-term. He also enjoys the fact that he gets to work alongside his friend, James.
