Meet Quenton: Associate Profile
Quenton is a lead on the donation dock at Deseret Industries. He helps process donated items. And he helps guide the work of other associates.
As a lead, Quenton has gotten to develop leadership skills. “[Being a lead] takes a lot of patience. At first, it was hard for me. I didn’t know how to talk to [other associates],” he says. But with some additional training and support from his job coaches, being a lead is now one of Quenton’s favorite parts of his job.
In the future, Quenton hopes either to get his CDL and become a truck driver or to work operating heavy machinery.
